Refund/change policy

My flight out of Logan was canceled, however, since I only found out about it within the final 2 hours before I was to take the bus, I cannot get either a refund or change the ticket. It's just gone. I've used Peter Pan and it's predecessor, Bonanza for 30 years, and the service has just gotten worse and worse. The drivers are fine. But clearly the attitude from ccorporate is how can we extract as much money from our customers as possible.

User's recommendation: don't buy your ticket untll you see the bus.

Reschedule

No one from Peter pan was working at the location I was trying to get bus from and the staff from greyhound were extremely rude and did not assist. Not only did I miss my bus but I also lost money. I can't even get a refund and would like someone to call me to reschedule my bus ticket for tomorrow

People smoking on bus

About 1HR and 50min into the ride from nyc to Baltimore/ Washington DC (3:00pm we took off from nyc) two females were smoking cigarettes in the bathroom, loud the whole ride, and had there kid playing video games loud on the speaker and the bus driver did nothing then when we were 15 min away from the Baltimore station they started smoking again... so when we arrived I didnt know who was smoking but I found the driver in front of the bus and started to tell him and the two females over heard me and ended up threatening me hence with a kid ! Talking about whats that going to do &;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Ill slap tf outta you and guess what the two people (driver and person who worked there) did nothing about it

Don't travel with them!

Bought by ticket and three buses passed without picking anyone up! Ended up having to get an Uber, and Peter Pan never even refunded the ticket!

Please insert your luggage in the middle of luggage compartment and rush out to collect your luggage as soon as the bus stops

My name is Stephen and I boarded the PETER Pan Bus from Boston to NewYork on 3rd May 2020 departing Boston at 1pm. Since I had two suitcases that I had placed in the luggage locker beneath the bus, I ensured that I sat towards the front and I dashed out as soon as the bus stopped. I must have been among the first 8 passengers to disembark. On the video clip screened by the bus company as we started our journey, I noted that it is the driver supposed to remove the luggage from the luggage locker. But alas as soon as the bus driver stopped the bus in New York he opened the luggage locker let people crowd and scrabble for their luggage. Since one of my suitcases was at the front row, some wrong passenger must have dashed out and picked our luggage and ran away. I say our luggage because there was another passenger also who lost luggage on the same trip. The poor customer care from PETER pan was in two ways. a) When I asked the bus driver for my luggage his reply was I dont know, did u put it in the bus? He moved away less concerned. b) When we approached the office near the bus Stand the personnel there including a supervisor by the name Dell Ingram told us (myself and another colleague reporting a lost baggage) that we the staff here have nothing to do with the luggage. Please call customer care help line or report on website. I tried to call the police and they told me that they cant do much unless the bus company retrieves the footage and forward to them pictures of the suspect. I asked Mr. Ingram the process of retrieving the footage and he told me that he doesnt know. Please go to Port Authority information desk. I went to the information desk and they again referred me to the bus company. I called customer care and reported my case and left in tears. As a tourist from Uganda visiting the United States for only the 3 rd time in my life who must fly back to my country on Monday 6 th January via JFK I m totally devastated for 3 reasons. 1) I saved my money for a long time to enable me travel to the USA ; a journey of 20 hours minimum to my home country by flight that I spent more than $1,100 on the flight ticket alone. 2) All my shopping for myself and the family was in the big suitcase that was weighing over 30 kgs and spent about $2,000 on mainly clothing, Breast pump for my wife who had delivered a baby back home, and some products from CVS pharmacy that are not readily available in my country. My family members back home were eagerly waiting for my return expecting their Xmas and new year gifts and shopping. I could not hold my tears when I called them to let them know I have lost my luggage and I am coming home empty handed. My children cried too. I dont have any money remaining on me to replace the items and I fly back home on Monday 6th. My other bag was a small suitcase that I use as hand luggage and placed there items I had come with and I was using here mainly personal effects. 3) I stay very far in Uganda, East Africa and can not get the same quality of products even if I had the money because most products available in my country are duplicates because of non functioning quality control systems. Yet I cannot afford to come back to USA in the near future. My request to Peter Pan is to ensure that they open luggage lockers when at least half of the passengers have disembarked so that this nasty experience doesnt happen to any one else. I am in total pain and not only myself but my entire family right now. It is not easy to save dollars in Africa. I also pray that the bus company helps to retrieve CCTV footage and collaborates with the Police and possibly identify this wrong element in this civilized country.

100% AWFUL EXPERIENCE

From the very 1st bus I got on in Worcester to the one I’m on now in NY has been the absolute WORSE experience in all of my travel life! All 3 bus drivers were so friggen rude, if I could get off this thing now & walk the rest of the 300 miles I would! Everyone around me is on their phone, making calls listening to music ect, my granddaughter sends me a 20 second clip saying hurry up & get here Grammy, I had the volume on 2 & it was the 1st time I’d played a sound since this trip started! Lady 3xs my size gets up & starts yelling at me to shut my damn phone off. I was stunned & then SHOCKED when the bus driver chimes in trash talking me while I’m sitting right here! I will NEVER step foot on another Peter Pan bus, I don’t care if it’s free!!!!

Bus never arrived and not compensated

waited 3 hours for a bus and nothing arrived. call centre said they'd send a van and didn't. had to uber at great expense and not reimbursed.

So many complaints, so little time

Want to buy a ticket for the 3:15 bus out of Logan at 3:16? You can't...even when the bus is 30 minutes late. Some drivers can sell tickets for cash...some can't/won't. Have a reservation ticket for a specific bus and it's full? Tough luck. Want to just look at a schedule for trip planning... don't bother pressing on the PB.com "Full Schedule"...you get dumped into the "Purchase Ticket" page. Let's not even get into their reliability.

Bad experience with bus service

Due to a medical reason I missed the 6:30 PM bus back to DC. I had no idea that I would not be able to use that same ticket for a later bus! Because I was told that I'd have to PAY FOR ANOTHER TICKET, which I refused to do so I used another bus company to get back to DC. Will NEVER USE PETER PAN AGAIN1

" I had no idea" Translation: I didn't bother to read the terms I agreed to when purchasing the ticket. Here's what you do, pull the terms and pull out the "compassion" or "empathy" clause that says if you have ANY kind of emergency you'll get your money back or not have to buy a new one and you're good to go.

If the terms YOU agreed to didn't have any of that, grow up and deal with it.

Next time understand that which you agree to and you'll do just fine. That includes this place or any other place.

Which as you can tell from their own written statement that they didn’t read and then had a fit because they were held to the terms of the CONTRACT signed. I swear it’s like they try to find more and more ways to be dumb!!

TOO LONG OF WAIT

There is always a 15-20 minutes wait to talk to someone. Then they give you an opportunity to have them call you back and the DON'T!! Get more operators Peter Pan!

Refund and compensation

I booked from Bourne to Woods Hole last Saturday and got a confirmed ticket scheduled to leave at 12:10pm. I actually bought it over an hour prior before 11am and was told the next bus was booked solid but I should ask the driver if there was space. Nothing came until almost 1pm, and the driver drove off without accepting or even talking to any of the 3 of us waiting to board. The next bus said "Boston International" then changed its sign to Woods Hole, and drove off even as we were approaching and hailing it. One of the waiters called your office to complain and was told a van would be sent to collect us, and the operator would call him back within 20 miniutes. An hour later we had heard nothing, and he repeated the call and was told there would not be a bus until 5:20pm or thereabouts!!! We then shared an Uber to Woods Hole at considerable cost. I want a refund and compensation for the Uber cost and loss of enjoyment, as I didn't reach my destination on Martha's Vineyard until after dark; missing a whole day of a 3 day stay.

My bus was leaving at 6:30. I arrived at the gate at 6:29. The bus door was already closed. I knocked on the door. The driver came out cursing me and screaming at me. I got so scared. It was the bus from NYC to Washington DC. I would never take the bus with them again....

Try setting your alarm clock 20 minutes earlier. Also, it seems your watch is defective by a minute or so.

You're lucky.

I wouldn't have even opened the door. The driver has a tight schedule to keep and the bus (along with everyone else who arrived promptly on time/ seated on board) does not have to wait for a slacker who can't adult that particular day.
